Site Leasing Coordinator
Real Estate

Reports To: Director, Real Estate

Location: Montréal, QC Office (hybrid, primary office); Toronto considered for exceptional candidates

About Aurora Towers

Aurora Towers ("Aurora") is a Canadian telecommunications infrastructure company, backed by CVC DIF, a leading global infrastructure private-equity investor. The company builds, owns, and operates wireless communication assets across Canada. Aurora leases space on its assets to wireless communications companies and assists companies deploying their mission critical networks. Aurora is seeking a Real Estate Lease Administrator to support the company's growth across Canada and with its wireless partners.

Aurora is in the process of building out its Canadian Real Estate function, including the modernization of its systems, the refinement of its agreement templates, and the establishment of operational playbooks that will support our portfolio for years to come. This is a meaningful time to join the team.

About the Role

The Site Leasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting Aurora’s Canadian colocation program — managing the end-to-end flow of carrier applications, coordinating agreement execution, and maintaining accurate records across Aurora’s tower, rooftop, and ground asset portfolio. Reporting directly to the Director of Real Estate, this role sits at the intersection of carrier relations, contract administration, and portfolio data management.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple active files in a fast-paced infrastructure environment. This is a foundational role within a growing Canadian Real Estate team, with meaningful exposure to a broad range of leasing and portfolio matters.

Key Responsibilities

Colocation Applications & Tenant Onboarding

  • Receive, review, and process colocation applications from wireless carriers seeking space on Aurora’s towers, rooftops, and ground assets

  • Track applications through Aurora’s internal approval workflow, ensuring timely follow-up at each stage

  • Coordinate with carriers to collect required documentation, resolve equipment variances, and confirm site-specific requirements

  • Support tenant onboarding by ensuring all executed agreements, access arrangements, and site records are complete and accurately filed

  • Liaise with internal teams including Legal, Operations, and Finance to facilitate smooth application processing

Colocation Agreements & Contract Administration

  • Coordinate the preparation, distribution, execution, and filing of colocation agreements, amendments, and associated documentation

  • Ensure agreements are executed within reasonable timelines and that executed copies are recorded accurately in the database

  • Track agreement milestones, notice periods, and renewal windows; flag upcoming events to the Director of Real Estate

  • Support the management of Crown and municipal ground lease renewals and extensions as they relate to colocation activity

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between executed agreements and internal data records

Carrier Relations & Revenue Support

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for carrier inquiries related to applications, agreements, and site access

  • Support tenant billing, reimbursement tracking, and cost controls in coordination with the Finance team

  • Assist in gathering carrier and market information to support pricing, project proposals, and site audits

  • Help identify opportunities to optimize portfolio occupancy by maintaining accurate and current tenant records

Database & Records Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date colocation records in Aurora’s lease management database, ensuring data integrity across all active sites

  • Perform data entry for new colocation agreements, amendments, tenant changes, and equipment updates

  • Support ongoing database clean-up in coordination with internal and external teams

  • Generate reports and summaries on colocation activity, pipeline status, and portfolio occupancy as required

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in site leasing, colocation, real estate administration, or a related field within telecommunications or infrastructure

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active files and competing deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; comfortable corresponding with carriers and internal stakeholders

  • High attention to detail, particularly in reviewing agreements and maintaining data accuracy

  • Post-secondary education in business administration, real estate, or a related field - or equivalent work experience

Strong Assets

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken) - a meaningful asset given Aurora’s Quebec operations

  • Familiarity with wireless tower infrastructure, colocation processes, or telecommunications site development

  • Experience working with databases or lease/colocation management platforms; ability to learn new systems quickly

Nice to Have

  • Experience with colocation portals, lease management systems, or ERP platforms

  • Understanding of basic carrier requirements and equipment standards for tower colocation

  • Exposure to a pan-Canadian portfolio or multi-jurisdictional real estate environment

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: Competitive market salary

  • Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; group RRSP program; paid time off

  • Work arrangement: Hybrid. Occasional domestic travel may be required to support internal team meetings or regional collaboration, estimated at one to two trips per year
